A Brief Introduction to Los Cristianos, Tenerife
Located on the south of the island of Tenerife, Los Cristianos is a growing harbor town that attracts many holiday makers and tourists from allover the world. It is found in the municipality of Arona between the mountains of Chayofita and Guaza and has a population of 19,000 who made up of local residents and ex-expatriates. There was no main settlement in Los Cristianos until 1888 when it was recognized in Spanish government papers as being a village containing a cave and 29 houses.
